We are well into the second term, and I would like to thank the students, staff, and community for our smooth transition
into the 2011-2012 school year. While our interim reports did indicate a positive gage of student success, there are still many students who have struggled with an overall positive report card. The mission of Cambridge-South Dorchester High School is to provide the students of Cambridge South-Dorchester with a variety of programs in a safe and caring environment where we will enable them to be successful in any post-secondary endeavor. Through these programs, students will become productive citizens intellectually, personally, socially, ethically and physically.
Cambridge South-Dorchester will serve the community as a center for educational, artistic, and athletic programs, gatherings and meetings.

-The American Legion is offering a scholarship opportunity for ALL students grades 9-12. The scholarship ranges from $500.00 to $18,000.00 (depending on local, state, and national winners). The date for application submission is February 3, 2012 and the Oratorical competition will take place on Saturday February 25, 2012. Applications are available in the media center, main office, and in guidance. Please see Mr. Howie or Ms. Collins for additional information.
